Wanna be your super star!

"How about we make some pasta for dinner and then maybe we can watch a movie? I've never done that with anyone...well once but it was...nevermind. Anyway, we could look at some music or something. Whatever you want to do today. It's your first day in the world. We'll do whatever you like." Kanon wanted Miku to experience the world. He just didn't want the world to take him away.

"Hotpockets are very good. Nutrious too for the most part. I'll stock up on more for you until you can learn to cook. We'll go shopping tomorrow this weekend or something...it's odd having someone around but I like it. This may be the best thing to ever happen." Kanon smiled at Miku and blew his hair up from his face again. The sickly bruise showing for a moment. Miku made him happy. Worst day ever had something good come of it after all.

The bruise made Miku frown a bit, he lifted Kanon's fair away from his face and studied the bruise. He lifted a finger to lightly trace the dark mark... "Can we go to the park? I've never seen the sky or well... anything outside this place. Then we can come back for pasta and a movie and showering--" Miku rambled on about everything they could do. Naive was the best word to describe him, but it was to be expected. He was a computer program just a day ago afterall.

"I wanna try everything. And with you, of course. I hope it's not too much for you, shall we?" Miku stood and offered a hand to Kanon to help him up. He linked arms with him as they walked onto the street, "Hey Kanon? Will you need me to get a job? You didnt have to feed or clothe me before so... I dont wanna be a burden. Oh!" The vocaloid ran ahead of Kanon and gazed up at the clear blue skies, "Wow... It's amazing!"

"Yeah, we can do that. Come on." Kanon allowed Miku to lead him outside. He hated the bruise but at least Miku didn't question it. The teen ran ahead to look at the sky. God he was adorable.

"Yeah, it's amazing. Especially during a black out at night. Then you can see the stars. You can see them out in the country but they rarely show themselves in the city. only when there are very few if any lights on. And no, you don't need to get a job. My trust fund is plenty of money. If anything you should be focusing on catching up in school and going to college. You're alive now...I want you to live your life to the fullest. That includes a good education." Kanon caught up to Miku and started toward the park. Miku was going to love grass and trees and flowers. He looked ready to explode from all the new things that had opened up to him.

Miku nodded and moved back to walk next to Kanon, "You'll have to show me someday. And don't worry, I wont let you down."

Everything Kanon thought Miku would love, he did. He couldn't help but to touch and stare at everything, particularly the grass he wasn't supposed to walk on. They walked until they reached a small koi pond, he poked a finger into the water to pet one of the larger fish, "However this happened... I'd never wanna change it. I'm glad I'm a unique Vocaloid, that you made me more than just a voice." He was still too scared to admit he had feelings though, that he'd actually felt before he was human. It would be a while before he could probably even say he'd been wishing to be human a lot more lately as well, even if only for a little while.

He started humming softly as he pet the different colored koi, the red one was by far his favorite. Probably because it was his Vocaloid color. He was human now though, not a Vocaloid, there wasn't a need to keep referring to himself as one.

Miku looked up when something wet hit his nose, then another drop fell, then another and another, until it was an all out downpour. The teen just laughed and held his hands out, "Freak rain shower?" He'd read about them before, in real life and fictional situations, today was definitely a good day. "How about that pasta and movie now? Come on!" He took Kanon's hand and ran back towards their home, making sure not to miss a single water puddle as they did.

Kanon laughed at Miku's behavior. He was so filled with childlike wonder. The teen blinked as a wet dot hit his eye. Water. Rain. It wasn't supposed to rain. "Yeah I guess so." He couldn't help but enjoy himself as the pair ran through all the puddles on the way home. Miku was certainly enjoying life.

"Pick out a movie while get dinner started...though we should probably change first. Umm...I'm not sure if my clothes will fit you or not but I have a pair of pajamas you could wear. They're black with red stars so it's up your alley with colors." Kanon was headed back to his bedroom and pulling out some dry clothes. Miku didn't look like he cared about the water. It fascinated him. He supposed it would fascinate him too if he's never seen it before.

They were dripping wet by the time they reached home, Kanon had said he'd had clothes he could borrow so without hesitation, he followed him and started stripping down to just his boxers as Kanon dug. He spotted the bath room and threw his clothing in the basket, coming back out to sit on the others bed. Kanon was still looking for clothing as he spoke, "I guess we might have to throw some clothes on that list for shopping..." Shopping also was going to be interesting, since he'd only ever done it online before now.

Miku stalked out of the bedroom and to the computer room again, to browse the movies all while in his boxers. He enjoyed the cool air on his bare skin, it was quite enjoyable. Scanning the titles, he found a musical he'd been dieing to watch. Grabbing it, he went back to Kanon, "Is Moulin Rouge alright?" Miku had a weakness for Ewan McGregor's singing voice.

Kanon had gotten stripped down and changed, bringing the other clothes to...Miku. The cold air made Miku skin break out in goosebumps. He was lean and built. How had his vocalaid become so....irresistibly desirable?

"Here's your clothes...yeah. It'll be fun to watch. Only thing better is to watch this and Sex and Death 101. It's an odd movie but pretty good.

[i]"Get some clothes on...or at least the pants. Shirts are optional, always. I'm gonna get the pasta started." The teen turned around and left to go start dinner. How long had he wanted Miku? He knew he never could because of it being a computer program and that was just wrong but it never stopped the dreams that always made him wake up with a problem. But now with him as flesh and blood and bone...it was very possible. Well not really. Miku was brand new and had no clue about that kind of stuff much less that a guy could want a guy. He was too cute to try to ignore though. Miku was just...perfect.

"Sex and Death 101?" Miku took the clothing from Kanon but only put the pants on, he wasn't quite ready for the shirt just yet, if at all. Now that he was better covered though, he put the movie into the dvd player then walked towards he kitchen to watch Kanon cook. He was bound and determined to learn, he wanted to surpass Kanon's dream Miku.

You make it look so easy... The blonde thought to himself as he watched the other boil the water and soften the pasta, testing them from time to time. "What kind of pasta are you making?" He was propped up on his elbows against the table, gazing at Kanon like he was the most wonderful thing in the world. Of course, to Miku he was, but Kanon didn't have to know that just yet.

He smiled at his newly alive friend and pulled out a noodle for him to try. "Mostacholli. It'll be good when I add in the pasta sauce and cheese. Garden medley chunky pasta sauce and mozzarella cheese. How's the pasta?" Kanon kept getting distracted by Miku's bare chest. Why did he have to develop a crush on his vocalaid system? It was bad enough that he liked him but to have sex dreams about him?...maybe he should've seen a therapist or something.

"Do you have the movie in? Oh and hand me the strainer. It's the bowl with all the holes in the bottom cabinet."

Miku took the pasta and munched on it, for being plain it was quite tasty, "Pretty good actually." He snuck another noodle out before grabbing up the strainer Kanon asked for.

"Yes, the movie is in. It's just waiting on the title screen, here ya go~" The lithe teen handed the strainer to his friend and helped him with whatever else he'd asked of him. The end results were an extremely tasty dish, that was hard not to just wolf down. Apparently he was a lot hungrier than he knew, "This smells great! Shall we?" Miku lead them to the living room and started the movie, happily munching and chatting with Kanon as they watched. The movie just gave him even more ideas for things he wanted to try. Poor Kanon... he hoped he didn't wear him down with all of his excitement.

The pasta was good. The movie was good. Miku was looking fantastic...what was he going to do if had dreams of him now? Miku was going to be sharing his bed for a bit till he could get another one. Of all the possible things that could make him uncomfortable, Miku asking what his hard on was, was by far the most uncomfortable he'd thought of so far.

"You want to watch anything else? We still have some time before we should go to bed. You have to go to school tomorrow and we have to go to the store before that to get you things you need for your first day."

Miku hadn't really noticed Kanon watching him closely all night, he knew his eyes were on him, he just didn't know what was going through his mind. He was wrapped up in his own little world until Kanon spoke after the movie finished, "Huh? Oh... Uhm, we could watch what you mentioned earlier? It sounded pretty interesting."

Though the idea of going to bed soon didn't sound too bad. He could curl up against Kanon and leech off of his body heat like he had the night before. At least this time they knew neither of them was dreaming.

"Sex and Death 101? Uh, sure." That was what he needed...still, Kanon got up and put the movie in. He wondered for a moment if Miku was going to ask any questions. Surely he had to have come across this while on the internet.

"Here. Would you like a Popsicle? It'll be a nice difference from the warm pasta." The teen took Miku's bowl and went back into the kitchen, getting a drink of water as he did. God he needed something to drink.

"Do you want anything to drink too? You have to be thirsty after the pasta."

"Water would be great, thanks!" Miku let himself sink further into the couch. Life in a computer didnt allow for these kinds of luxories, most of this still just seemed unreal to him.

When Kanon came back, he took his water and cherry popsickle then started the movie. It seemed like a pretty normal movie until it finally started to pick up and Miku realized what was going on... "O-oh my... uhm... this is different than what I normally found on your computer..." Miku was no stranger to porn, but it wasnt something he tried to admit to much. But he found he much preferred guys with guys... again, something he'd never confess to. Yet.

Miku leaned himself against Kanon. He didn't really care much for the movie anymore, just the closeness with Kanon. Even when the movie finished, he tried to ignore his tingling hip rather than get up. But he knew they had to get up early tomorrow... "Come on Kanon. Let's go to bed..." He's always wanted to put his friend to bed, now was his chance. They laid down together, with Miku on the inside against the wall and Kanon on the other side, he covered them both before snuggling up to him. He lightly kissed his cheek and bid him good night, not a single worry about what that could mean or do to the other.

Kanon raised an eyebrow at Miku. He looked at porn? Huh...oh well he didn't think that was too odd. It wasn't until later that Kanon understood what Miku had said fully. He looked down at the resting teen. The blonde was sleeping. He couldn't wake him up just to ask.

"There is no way...none..." In the morning he had breakfast ready. He just hoped Miku liked breakfast hotpockets. The eggs, applewood bacon, and cheese pockets were delicious. He was rummaging for clothes for them both when Miku finally woke up to the pockets and a glass of orange juice.

"Hey there sleepy head. We shouldn't go to bed that early again. I've been up for half an hour already. It's still early too. Come on. We got shopping to do."

The smell of hotpockets had been what had woken him up, Kanon not being there only drew him further out of bed. He let out a small noise in response to what Kanon had said, "I'd have no problem going back to sleep..." Being a vocaloid before, he didnt require sleep. But now he did, so he was still adjusting.

The blonde took the clothes offered to him and dressed, breakfast went down without much thought. It just kinda did and that was that, as they walked out the door to go shopping he kinda apologized, "Sorry... I dont think I'm a morning person."

"That might be my fault actually. I usually don't boot you up till late afternoon. You'll get used to it. While we're at it I could get a new laptop...and see if I can salvage the hard drive from my destroyed one tonight." The pair had managed to get everything Miku needed plus a new laptop for himself. Miku was registered and off to classes. By the time lunch came Kanon noticed he had a large following already. Of course there were jocks around him too. Sighing Kanon moved to sit at his normal table. It was far away from the guys who beat on him...the guys who were wanting Miku to be in their group.

"Well at least he's having a good day..."

Miku was shocked with how popular he was, he figured it was because he was new but... he was a bit overwelmed. Worst of all he couldn't even find Kanon, not until lunch anyways. He saw him sitting in the corner by the window and tried to make a beeline for him, but the jocks got in his way, "Excuse me... I'm kinda late on meeting someone..."

"This'll be quick, we just wanna see if you'd like to join the soccer league--" "Sorry, I'm more into music." With that said, he moved around him and literally ran for Kanon, sliding to a stop and sitting down next to him, "Afternoon! Where have you been all day? I've missed you!" The entire soccer team stared in amazement as the new kid sat with the outcast of the school.

Kanon looked up in amazement at Miku. "Oh, going to class. Hearing all about how hot the new kid is. And watching your popularity skyrocket and then plummet by sitting here. You?" The teen was smiling as he looked at Miku. He seemed happy but a little overwhelmed by the sheer number of people around him. They were right though...Miku was hot.

"How are you liking school? You know you should join the soccer team. They'd love to have you on there and it would do wonders for your social life I bet." Kanon knew how to play and could play pretty well...he just wanted to focus more on science then athletics.

Miku snorted a bit, the idea of him being popular or a super social butterfly. The thought had never crossed his mind, "Well, let it plummet. If they're gonna like me they have to accept you too." He smiled and nudged his arm, "The days gone smoothly though, I hope all this attention dies down though. It's a tad overbearing..." Sitting here next to Kanon was the calmest he'd felt all day.

"Soccer? I dunno... I uh, donmt really know how to play. I'm more... artistically inclined, ya know?" A true vocaloid through and through, music was his life, but he loved drawing and cooking, and several other things he'd discovered during the day. "They'll leave me alone eventually, right?"

"I can't say for sure. I've been in the same grade as them for years and have yet to be left alone. Today's one of the few days they haven't come to bother me. It's probably because of you. They're all excited about the shiny new toy. Not that you're a toy. It's that whole 'it's new' thing. It'll die down eventually...unless you make a lot of friends, then you'll have people around you all the time." Kanon offered some of his bento box to Miku. He didn't know if the teen had gotten lunch or even knew he could.

"Try the sushi. It's delicious."

Miku tried the sushi and made a small happy sound. "Mmm~ You need to teach me how to make these. They're so good!" Miku hadn't had time to grab lunch yet, so the small sushi offering was a godsend.

"I'll be back, I'm gonna grab some food." He went towards the line, trying to politely ignore everyones prodding as he waited. Everyone wanted him and his attention, but none of them really knew him. That alone made Kanon his number one choice, among other reasons. He sighed as he sat back down next to Kanon, "I thought I was overbearing, being new at well... everything. But these people top me big time." Miku offered a piece of his sushi to Kanon with his chopsticks, "Tis only fair, my friend."

Kanon smiled at Miku and took the piece of sushi. It was good for being school food. "We'll go to market after school and get the stuff for this okeh?"

"Hey Kanon? Can we sit with you?" That was new. He looked up to see his chem lab partner and her friend standing there.

"Oh...uh, I don't mind. Miku? Is it okeh with you?" He didn't know what to say. This was completely new to him. No one ever wanted to sit him before. Why he was looking to Miku for help was beyond him but it seemed right somehow.

Miku was just as puzzled as Kanon, after all he didn't know any of these people or that Kanon wasn"t usually Mr. Popular in school. It had always been Kanon for him, and now there were all these people. While he knew they were just trying to be friendly (or at least act the part), he just wanted Kanon. He didn't need anyone else. That mindset probably came from before when he was a computer, but that was something that couldn't be helped.

"Sure? I don't mind." The two girls sat across from them and watched Miku curiously. It was like they'd never seen anything quite like him before. Of course, not many people knew they were looking at a person born from a computer and a bad storm, hemd probably stare too.

"So how's school treating ya? We heard that you'd been homeschooled your whole life before this, why the sudden change? I mean, no teachers? That'd be awesome!" The girl who had tagged again was really curious about him, the idea of dropping home schooling was just odd.

"Well, to be truthful, it was really lonely. Not being able to share what you're feeling or go out and do something with someone you know... It was good while it lasted, but I think this will be a good thing for me." Miku smiled at the girl, but then looked at Kanon with an even softer smile.

"Oh I see, how do you know Kanon then?" Miku wasn't sure how to go about answering that one. He couldn't tell them the truth, it was just a tiny bit farfetched.

The girls sat down and he found himself annoyed by the girls and the way they were staring at Miku. "We've known eachother for a long time. He lived next door to my grandparents. I saw him a few weeks every summer so when he wanted to try school the old fashioned way he came here." Perfect lie...mostly. He looked at Miku and smiled. At least people wouldn't question them knowing eachother. But then again, it could get Miku picked on.

"Oh...well it's nice to have more then one friend. Especially, in this school. You'll have a lot of friends in no time."
