Say You're Mine ~Neko~

Karyu hovered over him, smirking as his eyes darkened with lust. He slipped a hand up under Intetsu's dress, his fingers tracing over his smooth thigh. "You might want to take the dress off before I tear it, babe..." He almost growled. He had to control himself and sit back so he didn't ravage Intetsu to the point of ruining the expensive dress. Instead, he started undressing himself, anxious to be able to touch Intetsu.

"I'm a yakuza, Intetsu. I just know~" He dropped his shirt to the floor, bearing his muscled chest. "I had Kei go find out...your birthday is something to celebrate and I didn't want to have it pass without me knowing. I would be so miserable if it passed and you never told me."

Intetsu got up and started to undress. He let the beautiful material fall to the floor and moved back into Karyu's arms. "Well you said you had a big meeting today and I didn't want to interrupt your work. I was going to go out to dinner like I do every year. This is the first time in years I've had a party...or someone to celebrate with." The ex-host kissed Karyu's skin. As much skin as he could possibly touch he did.

"So cute...hot...delicious..." The man was amazing. God he loved Karyu.

"I've been setting up this party for weeks now. I wanted it to be the best thing you could ask for." He smiled and he couldn't keep his hands to himself when Intetsu came to him. He ran his fingers through the blond hair and pulled him close, his other hand scratching lightly at his back. The ex-host was working him up and he couldn't help it. He pushed Intetsu onto the bed, pinning his hands above his head as he kissed him, dominating it quickly.

"I love you, Intetsu. Never forget that. You brought me something I didn't know I was missing and I don't know what I'd do without you." He kissed the tip of his nose and then started working his way down the blond's body. He would please Intetsu, yes. He would work him until he passed out. It was his birthday, after all. he deserved to be adored.

Last night was...mind blowing. Intetsu was still a bit dizzy when he woke up. Never before had he felt so much...everything! It was by far their best night. He was blissful and sitting with Karyu's father, reading the paper.

"Let's see...Taguru Industries is going bankrupt, that will boost sales for your company."

"Why the hell are you reading that out loud?" That snapped him out of his reading. He looked up to see a pair of brown eyes looking at him. Oh dear god! Intetsu jumped up and ran to the door.

"Find Karyu! His father is awake!" A couple body guards went into the room while Intetsu stood by the door. He wasn't sure how the man would react to his son's ex-host live in boyfriend.

Karyu was still tired from the night before. He was in his office, going through some paperwork. It felt like it was going to be a long day. He wanted so much to just go find Intetsu and make him go to bed with him. He could use the sleep and he was sure the blond might need some, too. He even contemplated taking a nap right there on his desk. Kei burst in, saying that his father had woken up.

The tall yakuza made his way across the house to where his father lay. He looked in and was not surprised to see a scowl on the man's face.

"Oto-san..." He didn't know how to respond. He was so glad to see him but what was he supposed to say? Oh hay, dad. I took over the business because I was sure you were going to croak any day now. Yeah, that would sit well.

"Would you care to tell me why this boy was in here reading the paper out loud? I want him removed from my presence." He glared and a few guards went to escort Intetsu out. Karyu was still standing there in shock. He couldn't believe his father was alive.

An hour long conversation began with Karyu explaining the details of both the legitimate business and the underground. He told his father the improvements he made and how he had been running it. He wanted his father to be proud but it didn't look like the old man was. Finally, Intetsu came back into question. There was raised voices, Karyu's father berating him for his sexuality and telling him how unlike a man he was. He told Karyu to leave and he did. Once outside the door, there was tears in his eyes. Never good enough. He went back to his office and tried to focus again.

Intetsu found himself escorted out of the room and set down in the study rather rudely. He was only trying to let the man know he wasn't forgotten...when Karyu came back in he stood up.

"I didn't know it'd make him upset. I thought he'd like to know what was going on in the world. I'm sorry Karyu..." The ex-host came over to sit on his lover's lap but the man seemed unresponsive.

"Karyu?"

His arms instinctively went around Intetsu and he looked at him with sad eyes. How could he explain the way he was brought up? Going to host clubs was one thing, but having one here living with him was something else entirely.

"He hates me..." He said softly. "He thinks I'm a failure and I'm ruining all he's created. I'm...no longer the oyabun. I'm just his son. I'll always be just his son."

His arms tightened around Intetsu and he rested his head against his shoulder. He couldn't believe this was happening. What more could he do to prove to his father that things had been running smoothly? There had been barely any gang fights in the past months, since Karyu had been smoothing things over. Guess it didn't matter.

"You were always his son. Maybe that's enough? You're his only family Karyu, he can't hate you. Things are just different from the way he did things. He'll come around. I have faith. You're great at what you do. He'll see that. He may not apologize but he'll bring you back into the fold." Karyu looked so sad. He wanted to cheer him up any way possible. The ex-host kissed his lover's neck softly and and wrapped his arms around him.

"Is there anything I can do? Anything at all. Just name it and it's done."

Intetsu made sense. Maybe he would come around. Karyu was the only heir after all. The shame if he rejected Karyu and named someone else to take his place. He wrapped his arms tightly around Intetsu, so grateful that he had him. Intetsu was the one happiness in his life.

"I don't know..." He kissed him back and rested his head against Intetsu's shoulder. "I don't know how to be what he wants."

Intetsu held him close and kissed him softly. "Don't worry...it'll be alright." The lolita kissed Karyu before getting up and leaving the room. He found his lover's father in his room, sitting up with the newspaper Intetsu had been reading.

"You are an ass. A powerful man that is too stuck up to accept anything out of his little bubble. And don't you dare try to throw me out. I'm here on behalf of Karyu because he won't stand up to you. I don't care who the hell you are, you have no right talking to him like that. Your business has soared since he took over. Gang wars are all but non-existent now and there have been very few deaths due to gang violence. That's the best it could get when dealing with gangs and you scolded him!? Why? Because he's doing things different from you? Because he's with me, an ex-host? Well let me tell you your high and mightiness, I love your son with all my heart and will do anything to make him happy. You got that? I. Love. Him. And I will not stand by while you berate him for his lifestyle. Open your damn eyes old man, he's the best you've got and the best you'll ever have." Intetsu nodded to him before walking out. He wasn't about to let that old man hurt Karyu like this. It wasn't right.

The oyabun set his newspaper down as Intetsu started yelling at him. He was somewhat impressed by his gall but it disturbed him. His son apparently didn't have the guts to stand up to him but sent his boyfriend instead. He listened to the boy and watched him walk out. The guards in the room were stunned that he didn't stop him. He cleared his throat and got their attention back.

"Bring my son to me..." he said, folding up the newspaper and setting it aside. If his son thought this sort of behavior was acceptable, he had another thing coming. Karyu obviously didn't learn anything and regressed in his absence.

Karyu saw Intetsu in the hall as he passed and almost stopped to talk to him but he went ahead. He'd see him later and ask what was going on. Sometime later, he emerged from his father's room, a stern and empty look on his face. Ignoring the office, he went right up to the bedroom to lay down. He was no longer oyabun, no longer to have any position in the legitimate company. He was severely demoted, scolded and turned away by his father. He felt empty and cold. He didn't see Intetsu, so he just hid his face under a pillow and tried to disappear.

Intetsu couldn't understand what happened. Karyu seemed even worse. What the hell had his father done. The lolita came upstairs with some food for his lover, passing his father's room as he went. Intetsu came in with food that the cook made specially for the man.

"Here. Thought you'd be hungry." Without another word he left the room and went to Karyu. His boyfriend was hiding...that wasn't good. The lolita came over to the man and set their food down.

"Karyu? I brought us up some food...and some dessert fun if you'd like to later. Please eat something. It's not so bad...you have your father back. Isn't that good?"

Karyu's father didn't understand and refused to look at Intetsu when he came in.

"Kei, make sure my door is locked so no uninvited pests come in." Kei nodded and got Intetsu out and locked the door. He felt sorry for the blond and for Karyu but his duty was to the oyabun.

Karyu didn't want to show his face. He didn't want to tell Intetsu what he had to say. He loved Intetsu dearly, but how could he reject his own family? He was so torn and confused and kept trying to decide which was the better path. He grabbed his lover and pulled him onto the bed next to him so he could hold him just one last time. He knew Intetsu would hate him for what he was going to say. Intetsu will never want to see him again. Karyu pulled his head out from under the pillow and gave Intetsu as kiss. He let his lips linger before he spoke.

"Sometimes...just when you think life is perfect, everything gets stripped away. I had accepted the fact that he was gone and I was happy. I was doing things my way while still trying to do him proud. I found you and I've never been happier. He says I'm growing soft...that I'm not man enough to be a yakuza. He wants you to leave..."

He couldn't bear to look into Intetsu's eyes. He was so scared he'd see hate there. He wasn't rejecting Intetsu. This wasn't his choice. His father demanded it.

Intetsu could feel something was wrong but didn't know what...then Karyu spoke. He...he was getting kicked out? The lolita pulled back and stood up. He didn't want to stand too close to Karyu, afraid the man would lash out for some reason.

"A-and you? Do you want me to leave?" His heart was pounding so fast. Intetsu couldn't breath...his world seemed to be crumbling around him, and all because Karyu's father woke up.

Karyu sat up, wishing Intetsu didn't move so far away. This was so hard on both of them. He still had this blank and confused look on his face and he couldn't meet Intetsu's eyes.

"I want to please my father..." He said, feeling like some part of him was being ripped away. He wanted to be a yakuza, he wanted the lifestyle....having Intetsu at the estate would ruin all of it. If his father did not approve, he would hurt Intetsu and force him to leave. Karyu needed his father's approval to earn his title back. There was nothing he could do unless his father said so.

"Y-you're breaking up with me? You want me to leave?" The day after his birthday...best day ever and now the worst. Intetsu couldn't stop it. He started crying. He bowed his head to try to hide it but they still fell to the ground. It wasn't like he could stop them. The love of his life was dumping him to please his father.

"You want me to leave then fine. Please your damn father. Find me when you decide what you want more." He looked up at Karyu before turning around and leaving, walking out of the house and back to the host club that had been home for so many years. They welcomed him back gladly and within a few days he was back to his old life. Karyu was nothing but an ache in his chest anymore.

Karyu couldn't bear it. He wanted so much to gather Intetsu in his arms and just hold onto him forever. He had to let him go. Even if it meant he lost him forever. He fell back to the bed and hid under the pillow once more to muffle his tears.

Kei was waiting outside to give Intetsu a ride. He felt sorry and it was obvious in his body language that he didn't want to see the blond go. He almost made an effort to say that Karyu had no choice but it wasn't his place. He left Intetsu there and returned to his oyabun's side.

A month later, Karyu was currently holding a very low position, being a messenger boy for his father. It was degrading and some of the guards tried to push him towards the night club again. He was charismatic and powerful when he went there. Now he was like an empty shell. He returned to the club, though, and back to Rose. The bushy blond didn't seem to have the same effect anymore. Karyu didn't fight back. He barely even spoke. Rose knew something was up and he didn't like it, so most nights it would just be Rose grooming himself while Karyu just sat there staring into space. He was a broken man and everyone around him saw it.

After a month Karyu came back to the club...back to Rose. Intetsu cried so much he thought he'd drown in his own tears. It wasn't long till Intetsu left the club altogether and fell in with a rival yakuza gang. One that spent a good deal of time training him...and using him. But he was used to it by now. His heart was stone, nothing mattered. Intetsu was far from the insecure man Karyu had first met. He was a trained, cold hearted killer now.

"Intetsu get ready. We got a challenge from another gang. It's going to get bloody." One of the other yakuza came into the room. Sighing the man stood up. He didn't wear lolita anymore. It was too girly. Not tough enough. He was wearing putomayo now. Black pants with a few chains and a black shirt with a skull and crossbones design on it. The shirt itself was a black T shirt with black and white stripped long sleeves attached under it.

"Maybe I'll finally die today..."

He got sick of Rose and the host was sick of him, so Karyu stopped going to the club. He could never bear the thought of having sex with anyone else and Rose was frustration to the extreme that Karyu wouldn't sleep with him.

Karyu's father was recovering nicely and sent one of his more trusted men, not Karyu, to a meeting with a rival gangs. All the smaller gangs seemed to be back with a vengeance now that Karyu was gone. Karyu was just a henchmen. Kei still looked out for him and would make sure no harm came to him. He'd been more of a father figure to Karyu than his own father was. He didn't know how much more of this life he could take. It was like nothing was helping.

The meeting ended badly and turned into a gunfight. Karyu was a good shot and he snapped to attention, defending Kei. When the older man got shot, Karyu dragged him behind an over turned table. When he went back out to face the shooter, he was face to face with his old lover.

"Tetsu..." He was shocked. Very shocked. He couldn't believe he shot at him.

Intetsu was in the middle of the fight and when he nicked someone with a bullet another took his place...but that other was not someone he expected. Karyu.

"Karyu. Figures. You're gang is who I'm fighting. Well at least it's to a deserving one." His eyes showed no emotion and his tone gave away only spite. He was truly dead on the inside. Karyu had killed him after everything he did.

"Go on. Shoot. You already crushed it so why not put a bullet in it and kill me for good?" Intetsu felt the barrel of Karyu's gun on his chest at his heart. The same place his own gun was pointed on Karyu's chest. Everyone else had stopped fighting. The tension was so thick no one dared move.

Karyu was glaring at him and stepping forward until they were both holding guns to the other's chest. His heart was racing and he wanted to talk to him. Would Intetsu even bother listening? Did Karyu even deserve any of his attention?

"You think I honestly had a choice? I thought I was doing what would keep my position but clearly that failed. I lost everything when I lost you..."

He didn't like the hatred he saw in Intetsu's eyes. He didn't want Intetsu to hate him. As a man who usually got what he wanted, this was difficult. He didn't know how to win him back, so he kissed him.

Intetsu was stunned when he felt lips against his own. Then his anger flared and shoved the man back. "Don't you dare touch me! You didn't lose me Karyu! You dumped me! You dumped me because your father wanted you to. I stood up for you! I loved you and all I did was to please you. And what did it get me? Dumped. Broken hearted. Oh, and kicked out. Then you went back to that fucking whore Rose! And then you expect me to what? Turn to putty just because you realize too late that you wanted me and kiss me? No way. You had me and you let me go. After everything. I'm dead inside because of you. You and your desire to gain daddy's approval. You wouldn't even stand up for me! You just accepted it. Yeah...you loved me a whole lot." Intetsu's voice was dripping with sarcasm as he rolled his eyes. His gun was still cocked but it was at his side for the moment.

Karyu was pushed back and something in him snapped. He didn't like being yelled at and he had had enough of it. He lowered his gun and let it fall to the floor.

"Then kill me. You obviously have enough hatred to do so." He said, voice firm and angry. "I never knew what it was to be happy before you and if I can't have that, then I have nothing to live for. You seem pretty bound and determined for me to not even try. Even if I disowned my family and tried to live as an honest man...you still wouldn't have me, would you? Say for me to never hope and I'll have nothing, Intetsu. Nothing."

He took a step forward and took off his jacket, tossing it to the floor. He held his arms up so Intetsu would know he wouldn't reach for a weapon.

"Come on. You have a clear shot. Just end my misery."

"Why? So I can be the only one to suffer? No way. You did this Karyu. You're the one that turned me away. You're the one that tossed me out. You could've stood up to that tyrant of a father and told him how you felt but no. You didn't. I have no reason to give you a chance when you won't stand up for me. You claimed to love me and to have been happy but the moment your father says something you just drop me? You didn't even fight him on it Karyu! You just gave up! Give me one good reason why I should give a chance to someone like that?" Intetsu's gun remained at his side, refusing to shoot Karyu. Everyone else in his gang was aching to but knew what could happen. Intetsu had become their best assassin. If they dared interrupt it was as good as a death wish.

"Because you still love me..." He said, slowly putting his hands down. "Because you know me...and you can probably tell that my loyalties are shifting...I hate him for what he's done to me. My whole life I was never happy. He never understood and he always pushed me to be stronger and tougher. Then he names me successor and as soon as he's awake, I'm a child again and he's pushing me into a mold I can't fit in. So what if I show mercy. So what if the legitimate business makes more money? So what if I fell in love? He's demoted me and I'm just there. Say the word, Intetsu and I will quit. I will leave his mansion and his money and start from scratch and be my own man. Say it and I'll go stab the old bastard myself. Something has changed and I want you back. I'll do whatever I have to do to get you."

He turned away from Intetsu and went back to Kei's side. Leaving his gun, he brought the man to his feet and started walking him out of there. Kei was his greatest friend and he wasn't going to let the man suffer any longer.
