Let me steal you away

Another morning of glittery eyed fangirls came and went, he wrapped up with his last female customer with a chaste kiss to her blushing cheek, "I can't wait until our next meet ma'peche." The girl giggled softly as she stood and too Miku's hand, "I wish my boyfriend was as sweet as you~" Miku smiled warmly at her and led her to the door. If she only knew that her boyfriend was also coming to see him for sex, should probably wouldn't think him so sweet.

A sigh escaped him as the door closed, it was his break time now... A whole hour to himself. An hour he fully intended to use to go over his funds and things and see how much closer he was to getting out of this hell hole and to somewhere he wanted to be.

"You seem distracted today Haru, you didn't even here me coming up behind you love." Miku spun and found himself in Takuya arms. This time he smiled a real smile, then stood on his toes a bit to kiss him. Takuya was the only client he never charged to kiss him. And he took bottom dollar to spend time with him... He loved the dreams and hopes he filled him with. But Hizumi, his employer, was the man who truely owned him, his true reason for staying. He paid, damn good at that, but he also saw him as more than a plaything. Miku only wished that their relationship left work... or at least didn't end in his office or some other secret place in the building.

"I'm not distracted my dear, simply on break and drained of braincells~" He kissed him again and drug him to his private room. He was on break, but Takuya wouldn't accept that answer. His only hope was that Hizumi wouldn't miss him much, he knew of Takuya, but he didn't really know just how obsessed the other man was. Just that he paid well and Miku did exactly what he said, to the letter most times.

So many clients today...that was good. It meant business was good. The only problem was he got to spend less time with his own hosts...especially Miku. The blonde was one of his most popular hosts but also Hizumi's favorite. The owner of the club would often drag him off somewhere for some fun, which he enjoyed thoroughly. Miku was something else...and he wasn't sure how to put in words. Being the owner of a host club and sleeping with his hosts? That was a big no-no. Still, The dark haired man couldn't resist him. Instead of having such a taboo over both of them, he kept their meetings secret...one of which was going to happen right about now. Miku was on break.

"Mimi, have you seen Miku about?" Whenever he asked for a host it was usually to discuss their performances and behaviors and such so the girl didn't question his wanting to see the blonde. She simply shrugged. She didn't know where Miku was...but she was sure he was still with a client...hadn't there been a man heading to his room?

"Damn...where is he?"

It didn't appear that Takuya was set on sex today, on the contrary, he was really trying to get him to leave the host club. "Now?"

"Yes, Haru. Now, right now. You said yourself you're on break! There are so many other host around, I'm sure no one would even notice." Oh somebody would notice, his name was Hizumi and he would miss all the high paying customers. Instantly, Miku went to host mode and shook his head, "You know I can't. I can't do that to... everyone. No matter how much I want to." He almost slipped and said Hizumi... Subconsciously he must have really wanted to see him...

"I don't mean to be rude Takuya... but I can slip you in a little later tonight. I really need to grab some lunch before the next horde of women come in."

Takuya frowned, which Miku hated to see, but he knew he understood, "Okay... Promise me you'll think about it more though?" To that, Miku nodded, with no intention to truly think to hard on it. Takuya left quickly, passing Hizumi around the corner from Miku's room. Miku himself was layign back on his couch, his hands over his face as he tried his best to unwind... "Who am I kidding... I need Hizumi to do that properly..." He'd failed to notice Takuya hadn't closed his door all of the way...

Hizumi saw one of Miku's exclusive customers coming out of a room. He wasn't booked was he? Maybe he was coming to get booked. Either way, he found Miku...and needing him to.

"What exactly do you need me for little one?" The owner of the host club came in and shut the door, walking over to his favorite host with a smile.

"You seem stressed. Too many clients perhaps? Do you need a longer break to recharge all that sex drive?"

Miku dropped his hands and smiled almost giddily when he saw Hizumi come in and shut the door. His hands instinctively reached for him, even though he knew he didn't have any rights to.

"I would take on all the clients in this building if it would make you happy, Hizumi." Without much warning, he pulled the man down above him. He held himself close to the other and nuzzled against him, breathing his scent deeply, "I haven't even removed my shirt once today... All my clients have been sugar coated little girls wishing I was theirs... I think I'm losing my charm Hizu..."

The blonde host pouted softly, know damn good and well that Hizumi would be more than happy to remedy his problem and give him the 'charging' he'd need for the day.

"I'm guessing you're here for a performance check, no?"

"I doubt very much you're losing your touch. If you'd like to call it a performance check then by all means but I'm not here for business." Grinning, the dark haired man slid his hand up Miku's shirt while capturing his lips. In all honesty, Hizumi didn't mind being pulled down on top of Miku. He was the only one that the owner would allow such acts with. Sure he fucked other hosts but Miku got away with far more then the others ever could.

"You up for scraping that break with me? I promise to leave you mostly coherent this time."

And that's what was different about Hizumi, every once in a whole he would spoil him with the words 'I'm not here for business'. It was little things like that that made him feel better... Hizumi was the only one who made him feel this, with Takuya he was just in love with his ideas and freedom. No... Hizumi was definitely different.

All thoughts of the host club and Takuya wre lost to him now though, he had his lover above him and he had him there for an hour at best. He was going to enjoy him to the fullest. "Mnn... I'm always up for spending time with you, anytime, anywhere." Miku moaned into their kiss and rolled his hips up into him. The older man new how to get him riled up and ready for more though, he gave him that credit.

"Must we leave me coherent?" Miku liked only having Hizumi of his mind, it was normal that way. If he ignored the rest of the club, it's happenings, and all of their sneaking, they were a semi happy couple like pair. He knew better than to speak that though, but he could physically show him.

His hands slipped up his lovers shirt and pulled it off, they only had an hour after all, this would have to be quickish.

Hizumi laughed a little as he allowed Miku to remove his shirt. "Unfortunately yes. You have other clients after this. You need to be awake and alert for them." He would relish in his time with the blonde. Hizumi always did...he just couldn't let Miku know that. It would get out and then...well stigma's stuck with that kind of thing. It wasn't long before the hour was up and Hizumi was getting dressed. Smiling softly, the man kissed Miku tenderly.

"I'll give you a few extra minutes...that was a fantastic break Aki-chan." One last kiss to his favorite's slightly bruised lips, and he was gone. No one would know. How he wanted to take Miku off the list of hosts and just keep him...

"Maybe one day..."

One of the best hours of his life, all the stress from earlier just felt like it had melted away as they finished... Miku wished they weren't always limited for time. He'd loved to be held by him... to have sweet nothings whispered to him and fall asleep together... Then again, he always had been a romantic type.

Hizumi thanked him and gave him a kiss though, "It was a great break, thank you... You helped more than you could ever know." that was more than what he could ever ask for. Maybe he should be happy with what he had. The job, shit-tastic as it was, paid well, he had everything he could ever want, except the guy that made him happiest. But he had him enough... or so he told himself.

He wiped a stray tear then jumped to put make-up on, he couldn't look so sad for his customers! And he really had to be ready for when Takuya came back around. He already knew, round 2 would be for sex...

Miku was getting booked by Takuya more and more in the past few weeks...it was starting to worry Hizumi. He couldn't allow a client or a host to get too attached. It would cause too many problems. Still, maybe Takuya just wanted more sex from Miku. After all, Miku was amazing in bed. Hizumi was creeping slowly to the room he knew Miku and this Takuya would be in. He had to find out how attached they were. If it came down to it he'd have to bar Takuya from coming to his club...or fire Miku. Hizumi somehow doubted he'd ever get the resolve to do it. He wanted to keep Miku around.

The owner pressed his ear to the door and listened to see what was going on. At least he had the right to. It was his club...and that was his favorite host in there.

Takuya was coming more and more lately, pressing him more and more to leave with him. Every time he politely told him he couldn't, but it never stopped him from asking each time. Today Takuya was his last customer, it was like the man had planned it that way. Miku always had trouble completely focusing on his last client, granted he always put on a good show, but he was eager as hell to get out of there. Evening time freedom was his favorite.

"Haru please... I've asked you repeatedly every week if you would run away with me, but always you can't. These host don't give a damn about you here! They're always sneering when you walk by them, they know you're better, that you're the reason they don't get the money they want.

"I could take care of you, provide you with everything you ever wanted, and you wouldn't have to sell yourself anymore!" Miku sighed, he knew what Takuya said was true... But he didn't care about any of that because Hizumi never acted that way, he never put him up on any pedestal. In fact he hid him... Maybe that was a sign. "Takuya... I would love to just up and run away with you but..." What was his excuse? He couldn't really bring himself to do it, but he was tired of dragging Takuya along as well.

What? Miku...wanted to leave? He wanted to leave him? Takuya wanted him to run away...well he wouldn't have to run. Hizumi would give Miku what he wanted. His freedom. The man made sure to have Miku told to see him after his work was done...sadly, this time was for business.

"Miku. You know if you aren't happy you can always tell me. Instead you plan to run away. Nothing is keeping you here. Nothing at all. In fact I'll give you what you want. You want to leave then go. You don't want to work here then fine. You don't. You're relieved of my services. I'm sure Takuya will be happy to hear about it. Oh and please let him know that he is from hence forth barred from my club. Thank you." Hizumi may have been a bit harsh but he loved Miku...and to know that he didn't want to stay...that nothing in the club, not even him, was something he wanted to stay for. The man didn't show it but he was hurt...he really thought Miku would have at least wanted to stay for him.

"But what Miku? What excuse now?"

He couldn't lie anymore, but he couldn't tell him either, it was against the rules. "I'm sorry Takuya, can we not talk about this now?" Takuya seemed to accept that... for now. They kissed and cuddled for a while longer and then his session was up. Miku bid him goodbye and was turning to get ready to leave, but Mimi stopped him.

"Hizumi-san wants to see you again... Is everything okay Miku? He's been asking for you a lot..." The host only smiled and nodded at his somewhat friend, "Yeah, things are alright. Or they will be, at least." Abandoning the idea of going home quickly, he practically sprinted to Hizumi's office. He wanted to talk to him about Takuya as well... and them. But by the unhappy look on Hizumi's face, he wanted to talk to him too. Oh no... No, no, no! Hizumi had been listening to them, he'd taken everything wrongly as well.

"Hizumi, please- It's not what you think!" But the host club owner wasn't going to listen. The bouncers that he rarely ever had to call on escorted him to his room then quickly outside. They restated Hizumi's words of Takuya's ban and warned him to never show his 'whorish self' either... He was no longer a host, he was a whore... Even Mimi had a snarky snear on her face as she turned and left him in the cold doorway. Miku was glad he never brought much, but what was he going to pay for anything now?

Week went by, Miku had tried and tried to get another job, but it seemed all of his ex co-workers drug his name through the dirt, if not Hizumi himself. This was just terrible... He needed money for his rent but he couldn't get a job... And he was certainly above begging. Takuya also disappeared, but then again he never met with him anywhere besides work. Another thing Hizumi didn't know... "Why not try singing? You wanted to do that anyways right? I'll tell ya what, I'll talk to my boss and see if he wouldn't let you sing for the evening at the bar!" Miku lucked out and the bar owner agreed, he would pay him depending on his performance and crowd response.

So that evening, Miku went in dressed in his sexpot clothing, there was a stage inside that he would move to in the evening but for now he was sitting outside promoting himself with his guitar and voice. He handed out fliers occasionally or stacked them in his opened case so people could grab them while he played.

"Hizumi-san are you alright? You've been kinda of down lately." Mimi was sitting with him as he pondered his life. His greatest happiness didn't want to be here and he let him go...why didn't he just tell him?

"I'm just...it's nothing. You should go home and get some rest. Thank you for keeping me company." The girl nodded and left. He needed a drink. Hizumi was just wandering around town, attempting to get the blonde he let go out of his head. It didn't help he could hear his singing. Wait, what? The owner of the host club turned to see Miku standing outside a bar, singing.

"I see Takuya didn't take as good of care of you as he said he would." He was still bitter but really, the man he loved had wanted to run away...

Miku was almost happy, until Hizumi's bitter voice reached him. Part of him wanted to jump and throw himself at him, but at the same time this was the man that fired him without hearing him out.

"Miku-san? It's almost time for you to get on stage." His friend popped his head out then quickly retreated. As politely as he could, he grabbed a flier and handed it to Hizumi before packing up his guitar, "I've only met with one man outside of the host club, I can assure you that it definitely wasn't Takuya." That man was the bitter person glowering down at him now.

"I have to work now, my apartment depends on my performance so if you'll excuse me..."

Really? Hizumi wouldn't have thought that with how the two had sounded together. Still, despite his brain telling him it was a bad idea, he came in anyway. Miku's voice was as strong as always...he'd missed it. The show only made his heart ache. He shouldn't have come inside. Damn him. Hizumi got up with watery eyes and left before Miku finished. He couldn't be there...couldn't see him. Miku was still surviving...and he didn't need or want Hizumi in order to do it. It put him in a worse mood. Hadn't he been anything other then a boss who fucked him?

"This is why you have rules Hizu...people get hurt when the heart gets involved."

Miku watched for Hizumi, he always made a point to look him in the eyes. But the last time he did, he saw the tears... Why was he crying? Sure he figured he was important on some level to the man, but if he really cared he would have listened. Right? He wouldn't of had him drug out of there or ruined his name and image... And when he started to leave, as much as he hated to do it, he finished his song and excused himself for a short break. He couldn't just let him walk out, he had to settle this. He couldn't leave him hanging like this like he had Takuya.

"Hizumi!" He shouted almost frantically as he walked out of the bar, he saw the man just down the block and gave chase. "Wait! I have something I need to say to you." Even though he no longer work for the man, when he grabbed his shoulder and pushed him to the wall, he still felt like he didn't have the right.

"... Why are you crying? If anyone should be crying, it should be me. You kicked me out without even listening to me, you drug my image through the mud, and then judge me on a whole gaggle of assumptions. I always played by your rules. Go along with with the customer says, don't upset the customer, they fund your pay check." He let him go and stood a safe distance from him.

"I did nothing to your image Miku and I know when you act! You weren't acting...I didn't give you a chance to explain because I didn't want to hear it. Hearing you wanting to run away from me was enough pain, thank you." What the hell was Miku talking about? He hadn't done anything against him other then fire him because he wanted to be free.

"Wanting to leave is one thing but wanting to leave? Did I not give you plenty of clients? Did I not give you plenty of attention? I didn't have to Miku. I wanted to. I have rules for a reason...breaking them only leads to heartache." The man had wiped away his tears. He couldn't look weak now...

"So magically I can't get a job anywhere because I'm on some kind of black list because of your host club?!" Miku wasn't one to whine, but he was on the brink of losing everything and becoming homeless.

Miku laughed low, his voice breaking half way as he shook his head to rid himself of the tears that wanted to come. "You didn't wanna hear it... Well you know what? Now you're going to, cause you don't have your fancy bouncers to haul me out!" He grabbed Hizumi's wrist and drug him into the alley, he didn't want to be interrupted by a cop or anyone.

Pinning his ex-lover to the wall, he made sure his eyes stayed locked onto the other. He was going to make sure that he saw what he was feeling, "Did it ever occur to you that maybe I didn't want more clients? That possibly I wanted more than just an hour a day from you? I may be a host and borderline whore, but I have feelings too! I can grow attached to somebody just as easily as a forty hours a week white collared businessman can.

"Then Takuya came- no, I want you looking at me. I fell in love with the dreams he spoke of, I envied them, then he thought he fell in love with me, but he just wanted to be my knight. Problem was, I already had found someone. Someone I thought no matter what knew and trusted me. But I was a fool, I should have known I was really nothing more than business to him. That if he really cared, he would have known that I had dreams too, that I didn't always want to be a host and a one hour fuck. I wanted to be a singer who could come home from a long night at a shitty ass bar and be held and told to keep on going, someday it would be worth it. But that wont happen now, because he didn't wanna hear it or break his rules." Miku let go of him, he didn't want to stick around to see if it sunk in. He left in a hurry, going back to the bar and just hiding in the back with the bar owner. The man sang nothing but praise to him and paid him pretty well, asking him to come back and even offering him more work at his other bars... As he snuck out the back and down the alley to his apartment, he found himself in tears... He wished they were happy tears, but he knew that he'd only ever have half of his dream, there would never be a Hizumi there at home.

Miku walked away. He fell in love with dreams...Hizumi had fallen for him but couldn't have allowed it. Miku wasn't part of the host club anymore so it didn't matter if they were seen together but the man just walked away. Hizumi had fired him and had given Miku no reason to stay. He did however find out from his hosts that they had ran his name into the ground. The owner docked all their pay and gave a strict warning before calling places and rectifying the situation. Even if he was still sour about the whole thing...he wanted Miku to be happy. The man deserved it. There were a few high powered music industry people that came to his club. The least he could do was point them in a good direction. That and send Miku some flowers after his performances.

He never made another appearance but Hizumi wanted the blonde to know that he hadn't done what he did to hurt Miku...not intentionally at least.

Miku just finished singing at another bar, the hurt of not having Hizumi anymore was starting to fade, but it's influence was heavy in his newer songs. As he walked off the stage, he was presented with flowers... How odd, he asked for who had sent them but the deliverer didn't know. "If I paid you... could you perhaps send a return message?"

By all rights, the man knew he shouldn't, but Miku was so sweet looking he overlooked the rules, "Sure... What would you like?" Miku smiled, and filled out the order form, a dozen lilies in Hizumi's favorite color, and a single snow drop. A sign of hope if you spoke flower language, then he wrote a note 'Thanks. But a personal delivery means more.' He wanted the man to know he was doing okay, that... he missed him. But he wouldn't directly say it. He wanted Hizumi to chase and want him, Miku would chase if need be, but the other needed to initiate it.

Hizumi got flowers back in return. Personal delivery huh...it would hurt him in the end but he'd do it. "Thank you." The next time he sent flowers Hizumi made the delivery himself. This was really going to hurt. Miku looked so radiant and happy on stage. Smiles like that were rare when he was at the host club. Still, when the set was over, he smiled and handed the flowers to Miku.

"You sound wonder Aki-san. I see I influenced some of your lyrics." Not all were quite pleasant but he deserved that for how unfairly he'd treated his favorite host.

"I'm in person this time as requested." Lilies and orchids like always with a snow drop in the middle. He wanted to let Miku know he was hoping too.

Miku was honestly shocked, after not hearing anything for a while, then again it probably took a small battle for Hizumi to finally settle on going. He gave him another sincere smile and accepted the flowers, "You always have, Hizumi-san." Miku kept a light smile on his lips, he missed Hizumi and it showed... but he didn't think he really had rights still.

"Have a drink with me?" He pulled the man to the bar and sat down, "... How's the club going?" Honestly, he didn't know what to talk about. But he did know that something didn't feel right in the bar, someone was watching him. But they would wait until he was alone...

"Sure. The club is good...it's not the same. It's more boring now without you. You're doing good here though. You look happier at least. You can't fake that kind of happy." Hizumi smiled softly at Miku as he ordered his drink. He was trying to be supportive and was doing a good job of it...he just missed Miku. A lot.

"I'm sorry. Just so you know...about not listening. It's a problem I recognize as having...I didn't like the thought of you running away and in my anger lashed out." Hizumi felt the hair on his neck stand up...someone was watching them...he didn't know who but it gave him a bad feeling.

"I am happy, mostly." It'd be better if Hizumi was there constantly, but they'd have to work on that.

Miku sighed and nudged his shoulder with is own, "I should have come to you when Takuya started pestering me... But I feared what you may say." He couldn't shake that unnerving feeling... he looked around, trying to spot the source of this feeling, but saw no one... Maybe he needed more to drink, probably not his best idea though.

"Will I have to request you to come around more often? Or... are you okay with things how they are?" Miku wanted to fix things, he wanted Hizumi to himself.
